Gov. Uzodinma Praises Evangelist Ebuka Obi as Zion Prayer Movement Boosts Religious Tourism in Imo

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has commended Evangelist Ebuka Obi and the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) for their contribution to religious tourism, commerce and economic activities in the state.

Uzodinma gave the commendation while attending the grand finale of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Annual World Conference and Global Crusade of Miraculous Takeover at Zion City, Ngor Okpala, Imo State.

The governor recalled that when the ministry approached the Imo State Government with plans to establish its permanent site in the state, he was pleased to approve the request because of the wider public interest and benefits associated with the project.

Uzodinma said he was impressed by the level of development already achieved at Zion City, describing the transformation as a reflection of the vision behind supporting the ministry's establishment in Imo.

He also praised Evangelist Ebuka Obi for his commitment to the work of God and for providing spiritual leadership and guidance to members of the ministry, popularly known as Zionites.

According to the governor, the activities of ZPMO have gone beyond spiritual gatherings, with the growing number of worshippers and visitors contributing to commercial activities in the host community and other parts of the state.

He said the ministry has helped attract religious pilgrims and visitors to Imo, thereby contributing to the state's tourism potential and creating opportunities for local businesses.

Uzodinma assured the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach of the continued support of the Imo State Government, saying the administration would continue to support initiatives that provide benefits to the people and contribute to the development of the state.

The governor described Imo as one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria and expressed optimism that the continued growth of religious tourism would further enhance the state's profile as a destination for visitors.

The Annual World Conference and Global Crusade of Miraculous Takeover attracted Zionites and worshippers to Zion City, Ngor Okpala, for several days of religious activities before the grand finale.
